All aboard! These skis are TRAVELERS, and have the tags to prove it. In this case, the owner ventured from Lillestrøm (near Oslo) to Ål in the Norwegian mountains, for some winter fun.
Normally we would refinish the tops with a shiny coat of lacquer, but we wanted to keep these skis all-original, even throwing in a pair of vintage ski ties to keep them together. However, Skifabrikk techs can't pass a pair of wooden skis without checking on the health of their bases, so naturally we cleaned and smoothed the hickory/ligno and put on a fresh coat of Swix burn-in pine tar.
These skis will look great as a decorative addition to your home, or for the adventurous will slide like they just left the factory, once the snow flies. Your pick. Beautiful 4-pin Rottefella "Pil" bindings included, but will be removed for shipping.
