RARE Skilom model 145 birch base, wood cross-country racing skis. Skilom was a marketing brand created by a group of Norwegian ski industry companies to sell products overseas, particularly in the USA and Canada. Skilom-branded skis were manufactured by Madshus of Lillehammer, Norway.
These extremely light, birch base/hickory edge skis are in great shape and are ready for the snow. Bases have been refinished and tarred by Skifabrikk, using techniques developed in the heyday of wood ski racing - 1960-1974. Skifabrikk ski techs have over 50 years of experience skiing, racing, and preparing cross-country skis, both wood and fiberglass.
These skis will make an excellent addition to your collection!
