Stavanger, on Norway's southwest coast, is the country's oil capital. Yes, it's true! Those snow-loving hypocrites are huge producers of carbon-rich oil and gas. But they don't use it, so they are clean, right? They must be related to the Sacklers. Heh-heh.
Regardless, Stavanger is a very nice place. You can take a fjord tour from there, or just go shopping, because it's like the Dubai of Scandinavia. And a visit to the oil museum is a must!!!
