It's here! Finally available in North America!! The official history of Swix, "Historien of Menneskene" (the history and the men) by Harald Bjerke. Bjerke was Swix product manager from the early 1970s until he retired 40 years later, and oversaw pretty much every development in ski wax and other Swix products during that time. This 380-page tome is written entirely in Norwegian, which isn't a big help to most people, but the pictures are great. With some handy Google translation tools or your knowledge of Norwegian, you will find a lot of great historical nuggets in here. If not, just leave it on your coffee table and look sophisticated.
